Socratic Medicine: Why are we so dependent on the Pharmaceutical Industry? What goes into the Research, Development, and Manufacturing of these medicines that makes it so EXPENSIVE?

Our nation is attempting to address the issues of giving
access to HEALTH CARE to all Americans with "OBAMACARE", but at the same time no matter who pays for the health care it is going to be EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.

There are some serious questions that need to be presented to CONGRESS in regards to the REGULATION, pricing, distribution, and marketing of the Pharmaceutical Industry's products...(How,What,When, If.. creates these prices?)

We have become veritable lab rats in a system that cures nothing, and escalates the profitability of those invested in our infectious desires to be irresponsible with our health. The Food, and Drug Administration is suppose to protect consumers right? But can you expect the FDA to be able to impede what looks like the monopolies of the RAIL ROAD, STEEL, and OIL INDUSTRY 100 years ago?

I question the mental, and physical health of the American population, and I do so because I will not swallow any pill that can make me believe that it is FAIR to charge 1000% mark up on a "medicine" to treat a symptom created by the same companies that sold you the food that is causing it. - That is all

Contradictory Logic: The same people that want to get rid of Teacher's Unions.. Now want to give those same Teachers WEAPONS to defend the classroom, while paying them less money, and exposing our future generations to implicit violence.

These same people believe that the GOVERNMENT should have control over a WOMAN'S BODY to protect human life, but have no say in what kind of WEAPONS are availabl
e to the public that are being used to take human life.

I must not forget to mention that they believe incidents involving terror aka "Terrorist Attacks" are only if the murderers don't have American Citizenship or look like what they consider "Americans".

They also want to permit open carry in Sports Stadiums where ALCOHOL, is being over consumed but if someone wants to smoke marijuana in their home we should waste tax payers money prosecuting an antiquated law to protect society. - That is all

The Feet Dragging of Conservatism: Civil Disobedience is a CORNERSTONE of our Nation's existence. But I can't help but notice the consistency of heavy feet from the states that are colored red politically. The Supreme Court is the highest court in the LAND, and has delivered many land mark decisions:

Rutherford B. Hayes v Samuel J. Tilden (ruling led to the Compromise of 1877, and the withdrawal of federal troops from the South, and the institution of Jim Crow Laws) - Red States Sprinted to Execute.

The 13TH Amendment (Abolish Slavery), 19TH Amendment (Women Right to Vote) - Red States took as long as an additional 30 years to implement costing the nation millions, and accosting the rights of Americans.

Brown v. Board of Education, Red State Governors literally stood on the stairs of Public Institutions to suppress the rights of AMERICANS to attend institutions based on race. - Red States Civil Disobedience ignores the Supreme Court based on it's lust for the preservation of racism.

Obamacare 2012 Decision, "Conservatism's" Feet Dragging is cemented in it's pathological extremism of ignoring the decision of the HIGHEST COURT in the land, and impeding the evolution of our society towards a more perfect union. Standing on the individual right to go bankrupt or die from the cost of medical costs.

The CLASSIC ARGUMENT is the fiscal irresponsibility of social programs, and the FREEDOM of the "Free Market", but the RED STATES which are heavily invested in the Military Industrial Complex have not complained about the cost of WAR in dollars or human capital, which has been essential to the economies of those in the RED, and giving way to low wages no unions, and economic caste systems. RED STATE GOVERNORS are vowing not to acknowledge Obamacare. - That is all
